There will have been times this last week when I have forgotten to thank you for your blessings in my life and I have taken you and others for granted. There will have been times this week Lord when I could have been a better person when I could have helped others and I didn’t. Lord God, I ask you to look down upon me and your flock and forgive us our trespasses against you and other people in our lives. I know that you watch over me all week Lord and it is right to give you thanks and praise for all your care and love. This Sabbath and day of rest I am taking time out to say to you Lord from the depth of my heart that I am thankful for every grace you bestow upon me. Lord, you bring me all kinds of gifts, my family and friends and the gift of life itself. I am happy that this Sabbath I am here to praise and thank you for all that you have given me. Lord, thank you for all the bounty and love you have brought me this last week.
